Amy Friend is a Canadian artist known for her work that involves creating tiny little dots with a pin or other small objects so that when the picture is held up to the light, you can see it shining through the holes, creating an interesting effect.
This was my recreation of Amy Friend's pin hole photographs. Its hard to see the pinholes in the photograph, they are in the windows and around the fascias. I think this is a really effective way to enhance an image as its not destroying the image or changing its appearance it just adds detail and texture to the image. I would like to possibly take forward this idea to my final outcome depending on my photographs.
